Ok, so I went to my friends house and I saw it sitting against the wall so I grabbed it. I haven't hoola hooped in ages lol. It became the hot of the night. Even our husbands were trying hard but it kept falling down. They just need to practice more lol. One of the husbands wouldn't give up and he kept trying and trying lol. His shirt was drenched wet, he surely got a great workout!!! This has 8 sections that were so easy to snap together. The foam is super soft and thick too. The weight is perfect soft beginners, as the lighter it is, the harder it is. This is 2.6 lbs"¦ perfect! Buy this. Put some upbeat music on and have a competition. Super fun. Now all 3 sets of friends have it at their homes.

This product is very nice and very sturdy. I am 68 and have not yet been able to actually hula hoop yet but I'm not giving up and I'm going to be able to do it soon. Should be a great new way of getting some exercise.

I'm giving it a 4 just because it was a little hard to put together/take apart. I have a shoulder injury so I struggled to do both of those things and had to have help to do either. I ended up sending it back in the long run because it's too heavy for me to re-learn hula hooping with (I'm early 40's and not hooped since I was...7? 8?). If I can re-learn with a lighter hoop I will repurchase this one, and once again get someone help me assemble it.
