The alarm and remote control works. But I have a Prius. The alarm goes off and on since this vehicle has sensors and actuators that activate even after minutes of turning off the car. "hybrid system".

The alarm seems to work well on maxmimum sensitivity. The only issue I have is that the buttons on the remote are too sensitive. They get activated somtimes when the remote is in my pocket. It can be annoying.

Simple easy to adjust the sensitivity. I installed it in a 1997 Subaru Impreza. Level 4 was to sensitive, I didn't wanted to bother my neighbors every time a heavy truck drove by. Set it to level 3 and the alarm go off when you kick the tires, bump the car or try to lift it. I'm Very happy with the purchase even if it last a couple of years.
