Nice screen in a size you can handle
idgie57✓ Verified Purchase•October 23, 2023
I affixed this screen material to my full-length storm door to keep my hummingbirds from attacking their reflections. It was easy to cut to size, and I attached it with eight strategically-placed Velcro dots. It did peel away from the adhesive on the Velcro rather easily, so I just stapled the Velcro in place and it hasn't budged since. It's been up all summer and hasn't torn or stretched.
I'm thinking this would be a good purchase for occasional screen repairs/replacements on windows or doors. And you won't have a lot left over to clog up your garage shelves.

My favorite screen door replacement

I've ordered from a few different brands and this one is in my opinion the best. I have a short term rental property and constantly am replacing these, as well as for my own home with kids who are always pushing against the screen tearing it up. It's thick and good quality. My door is much smaller and I don't even need this much but I like the quality so much I order from them anyways.
Great for terrarium barriers!

I use this as a terrarium substrate barrier between substrate and drainage layers. (it keeps the chunky stuff out of my water). It works great for this purpose! This is a very large cut of mesh that needs to be cut manually for whatever you may need it for.
Careful not to fold it under weight, instead roll it up and stand it upright when storing away.

This does come folded, but it turned out OK

Came in a small plastic bag, folded into about a 6x6 square. The directions say how to get the creases out, which helps.
For a screen door

I needed to build a screen door for my back house entry due to a contractor who built the frame for the rear door building it in a non-standard fashion which does not fit manufactured screen doors. I ordered this screen because it came in a large enough size to do the entire door in one go. Screen got here promptly and was very easy to work with. I cut it to size using a pair of scissors. I put the screen behind a metal grate on this door (just in case) to keep the cats and dogs from ripping it when they paw at the door. Now I can leave my back door open and air out the house without pets and bugs getting in. This worked very well for what I needed it for in a DIY screen door. Given its thickness and ease of use I would not hesitate to buy it again if I need to do some other screens like for windows etc. It lets air in very well and also keeps bugs out perfectly. When used properly I have no doubt this will be exactly what I need for any given screening jobs.
