I own several ESP's, an E-II, and a bunch of Edwards and LTD's. This is the second LTD I have bought that was not manufactured in Korea by WMI. The first I bought elsewhere and to be blunt it was garbage, should have never been shipped.
This one however I am super impressed with. I'll go over the problems first though.
The frets were sharp, and I mean cut cardboard level sharp. The floyd rose (Which has been the case on all three of my made in Indonesia guitars) was not setup well, lopsided one post WAY too high and the other almost in the right spot. And these certainly do not have the quality paint work that they used to, bleeding into the binding, etc.
Pro's
The neck feels awesome (now that the frets are cleaned up) it sounds great, I really REALLY love this guitar. Love the color, the EMG's sound fine. I used to not like active pickups but they are growing on me.
Overall really happy with the guitar. Still thing the quality control people need to do a better job, but over all happy with the purchase
