Putting it together isn't real hard unless you're 70 yes old. Trying to seat some of the parts can be difficult and you have to work to make the latch on the bottom to catch. But over all we love the chair. It is comfortable. And our young granddaughter loves to sleep on it when she spends weekends with us. We highly enjoy the sofa

Arrived in two boxes, one day ahead of expected. Put it together by myself but it would have been helpful to have someone else to help hold the back while placing screws in hinges. Needed a hammer and a large nail to start the wholes for the caster placements, as the holes were not pre-drilled. All parts and tools were there with easy to follow instructions. It is very firm, but I've looked at several convertible chairs and they all were firm. I will use a foam topper when I use it as a sleeper. Looks just like the picture, I got the dark blue and am very happy with the purchase. It is a little narrower than a traditional twin bed. Get the twin xl sheet for this one.
