I have used a more expensive Morey boogie board for years. It was cheaper to buy this than to ship the Morey to my vacation destination. I was hoping it would be good--I was pleasantly surprised. It is big enough and broad enough to plane easily on small waves. Great for beginners. But it is also stiff enough, and has good enough edges, to make great carves--good for intermediate/advanced boarders. The leash is fine--no need to replace with a better leash. All in all, a great value.

I ordered two of these boards for my kids. They held up very well and seem to be good quality. The kids were having so much fun, I ended up using it for a bit. They held a 200lbs man with no problem. Definitely recommend. The only minor issue are colors of the board are a little weak but the performance of the board is strong.

We put a XM Leash and a $10.00 plastic handle on it for him and he RIPS on it.
He's 10, about 54" tall and 95 pounds and the board has plenty of float for him. No problem picking off waves. Good deal for the price.
