Great but barely fits 8.5 X 11 sheet

Bought these to laminate some letter sheets which are 8.5x11 size. The length of these lamination sheets (12.2") is plenty, but the width (8.7") is too little and leaves very small margin for error. It's bizarre that they have provided for 1.2" of room on the length (12.2" laminate vs 11" letter size) but just 0.2" of room on the width (8.7" laminate vs 8.5" letter size).
The adhesive is great and the build quality of the sheets is far better that other brands, but they don't fit the sheet properly, making the margin for error very low.
But all that said, compared to other offerings in the market, the quality of these sheets is superb!

This a great product in general. It does not have any guide for us to place the item to be cover/laminated straight. For this reason, it's really difficult to place the document, paper etc straight.

THESE R REALLY NICE TO HAVE. BIG & SMALL PROJECTS ALIKE. 1 SUGGESTION: IF PUTTING ON SMALL PROJECTS, FIGURE OUT ENTIRE STEPS & VERIFY YOU CAN DO IT THE "WAY" U WANT TO DO IT. I HAD TO THROW AWAY 1ST SHEET CAUSE I DID NOT VERIFY. LOGICALLY IT WAS SOUND & EASY. PHYSCALLY, NOT SO MUCH.

The product is easy to use and my final project looked great. My only critique is that the width of the sheets is a little too small for the standard 8.5x11 paper. The length has plenty of overlap, but you have to be really careful about where you place your piece of paper because there is very little wiggle room and I had a hard time placing the laminate without failing to cover one or both corners of the sheet. Even then, it seems like the width ends didn't seal well and the final product is not water resistant.
