Awesome but lacks one-time coding ability

Overall very good. Love the quality and uniqueness of the lock. Easy to install and program. My only negative on this lock is that you cannot program one-time codes nor can you flip a switch and have it stay unlocked. You can program an override but it takes about 6 steps and isn't as easy as the lock i replaced. Why did I replace it you ask? Good question. My dog would routinely let her self outside with my lever style programmable lock. So I purchased this lock hoping she would not attempt to open it. I think that the lock is sooo smooth she is unable to open it like lever or normal knob door locks.

This door knob is a bit bulkier than I imagined, but I'm super glad I purchased it. It still manages to look sleek, and be sturdy. It was easy to install and program (but I definitely recommend reading the instructions first.) Keeps little ones out of places they aren't supposed to be. I'll be buying another to replace my exterior door knob with!

I bought several locks like that to try them out, and Zincker stood out with easy to install, simple programming and so far it has been working constantly for over half a year and its a joy to use. The only thing that would be great is having a button that could light the numbers display for in the dark. Pushing a random button does light the display but the lock goes right away in "command Mode", wanting to accept a code . I then will have to wait till it clears the "wrong" button entered before I can enter the correct code. But by then, the lit buttons are off again.

I had planned to install this myself but had trouble getting the old knob off due to a stripped screw. My brother got the old knob off and just continued on to install the new one. I wasn't here while he was doing it but he did say, "why did you have to get the most difficult-to-install door knob?" So, do with that statement what you will.
A couple of things to note:
-I did have trouble for the first couple of days getting the knob to turn and unlock but I think it just needed to be broken in, as I haven't had any problems since (granted, the weather did also get warmer so that may have impacted things"¦I'll update this in the winter if it gets difficult to open again).
-The number sounds are pretty loud and I need to look into if there is a way to turn off the audio because I don't like that it announces when I'm leaving my home (it's on the door of my detached garage).
