Beautiful vanity. Took a while to put together, but I think it was worth it. Looks beautiful in my daughters room and she loves it!

OKAY! So, a little back story. 2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I were invited to his bestfriends party to celebrate his wife and him having their first child. They recently purchased a new house in march, so I had to have a tour. Beautiful house, but most importantly, her VANITY! It was not like this one, but it was gorgeous. So I asked my boyfriend If i should get a vanity or not the next day we went home and he said go for it...WELL, I found this.

- Lets start with the pro's

REMINDER
1. This is NOT easy to assemble. Ladies, grab your bf or husband, tell them to stop hiding from you and come help you with this thing. Not only is it heavy as heck but it's just hard for one person to assemble.

2. This mirror is VERY pretty. It's gorgeous once full done. You can decorate it any way you'd like and it still looks AMAZING. I have a small room but its my happy place so it fit perfectly with me in my room. Lots of drawers as well, so more space for makeup! or even clothes if you will. Its your item, and your business! Do what makes YOU happy.

- Cons

It takes a while to assemble. I think if I had any MAJOR con about this item it would be how vague and lazy the directions are. There's a fair amount of things I would've done wrong had my boyfriend not been working in construction in his younger days and knew better/told me I was doing something wrong. That is pretty much my only con about this product.

-- My overall opinion.

This product came quicker than the delivery time. Nothing came broken or damaged, and the seller kept in contact the entire time. Honestly? If you're hard working and you finally want to spoil yourself with something nice, do it. Buy this. Grab your lover and assemble it together and decorate it. This vanity is also VERY sturdy. Though the instructions were vague, It did say you could mount it to the wall for more stability. which is exactly what I did and this vanity does NOT move. Friendly reminder, if your product arrives damaged/broken you NEED to file a complaint or get in contact with whoever delivered it. The seller isn't shipping you something broken or damaged. It's getting damaged on its way to you which isn't your fault, or the sellers fault, but the delivery company's fault. I use to live in New Jersey when I was 20, I lived there my entire life, and there was always an issue with me receiving something from amazon. The delivery person gave it to the wrong person, left my box outside my apartment where everyone enters, didn't ring the door bell...ALWAYS an issue. I filed a complaint against them as they were CARELESS with people's items. Once I moved with my boyfriend to a nice area in Ohio, I actually have no issues with my items anymore. I even get one day shipping, its amazing! So make sure if your item arrives damaged/broken the first person you yell at is the delivery company before you yell at the seller.

Lots of reviews about how hard this was to put together, the main vanity took us about an hour, the drawers took me alone about another hour and that included lining each drawer with contact paper prior to full assembly. My husband does build motors for a living so he is super handy! But, I did the drawers on my own and they were a snap! My 17 year old LOVES this vanity, I had to recheck the price because I truly am shocked the quality was as good as it is. I would have given it a 5 but I STRONGLY dislike the lights and didn't end up using them. It also came a week earlier than amazon originally said! Woot woot!

The media could not be loaded. I am in LOVE with this vanity! At first, I was going to get a different vanity that had amazing reviews but it went off sale and decided to take the risk and get this vanity that from my point of view, had good and many bad reviews. I did not purchase a protection plan because I was on a budget and felt unnecessary to do so because my family and I never purchase them. I saw many people talking about how bad the drawers were, I really worried about the drawers and thought they would be as bad as people said but it turned out to be the opposite way. The drawers do not fall once opened and if you're at the point of putting the drawers in and its hard to out them in and out, then check the screws that you used to attach the metal slides to the drawers! Try to put them as in as you can, or at least make sure the screws don't touch the slide's wheels. The drawers make a sound but I find it very normal and nothing wrong with them. They sound smooth to me. (look at clip #3 to understand what I'm talking about if you don't get it!)

There's 5 different lights settings and can also adjust the brightness! The lights are NOT built in, I wanted to get built in lights but since I'm in a budget I could not find one but I LOVE these lights. honestly nothing to complain about, it comes with 14 lights but I only used 13 and out the extra one behind the vanity since theres a little "shelf" where you can honestly hide stuff.

I lot of people talked about how long it took the build the vanity and how the instructions were kinda difficult. My dad helped me build the vanity and took us from 5:30pm to 9:30 (we finished building the vanity at like 8:30 and then I told my dad I could finish the drawers myself) and then I continued the next day for like an hour to finish the drawers and put the lights on. The instructions were honestly easy. We did everything without reading the stuff that was under each step. The only thing we read was the step that said we needed to put the metal slides on number 24 on both sides and that was honestly only because they didn't out what number it was on the wood in the picture was. The instructions will eventually confuse you a little because it might make you think they made holes in the wrong spots and all that but in reality they made the instructions a little but wrong. But overall I LOVE this vanity and I recommend it so much!! It also comes in 2 big boxes and a small one if you ordered the non built lights ones.

I needed a temporary solution until a bathroom renovation and so I really liked the cost effectiveness of this vanity. It is a great value for the price as most quality vanities are much more expensive.

The mirror arrived broken and I reached out through Amazon and directly to Boahaus (I didn't know which was the correct way) and they responded kindly to both emails within a day and I had a new mirror within a week.

The instructions aren't detailed enough. After reading reviews, I was very nervous about the instructions to assemble. I made sure to read them thoroughly in advance and with extra care at each step, but I still ended up making a couple big mistakes that required some disassembling and rebuilding.

The lights leave a lot to be desired but after shopping around for this type of lighting, I learned that they are hundreds of dollars so this lighting makes sense with the price point of the vanity.

The material is partial board like most inexpensive furniture so it can be damaged if not careful, but I found the glossy painted surfaces to look and feel lovely and makes the vanity look very appealing.
