I wanted a little higher gear so I changed from a 32 to a 34. It looks like I get a little over 17 more inches per crank revolution than I did with the old 32 sprocket. It's also half the weight of the old steel oem sprocket.

Replaced a 2 year old SRAM eagle gx 32 tooth ring. Personal preference of course but I always felt my gear was either too high or too low. The 30t is just enough different than the 32t that I'm much happier with the lower gears. I will eventually replace original 10-52t cassette with 10-50t version. Can't speak to longevity but it's quieter than the worn OEM ring.

I like experimenting with chain rings and I don't like spending upwards of $50-100 to do so. This thing is a champ, I probably got a couple hundred miles on it, absolutely no issues. I would never have experimented with a 36T On my 1 x 10 rig if this price wasn't right. Absolutely no complaints, tired of getting ripped off by the big names.
