The item arrived on time at my address. A fairly large box and well packed as its contents were secured. FedEx did a great job delivering it. The bike carrier is made of a heavy black painted steel material. This is composed of several parts, with a small box, containing bolts, washers and nuts with an instructional sheet, inside the large package . This sheet of instruction needs patience and looked at, many times, to understand it. There are many selections of bolts sizes and washers. arrange all the parts, on a surface, before attaching them permanently.
Assembly is of took about two hours. I posted these photos for everyone to see how well this carrier is constructed. No rust and every item was well made and clean. I added wheels to one end. This allows me to move it for storage or on the truck's hitch. I can't lift, due to a minor surgery. I'm glad that my dubious purchase turned out well. I would had preferred, of an aluminum material for this bike carrier and I gave it a FOUR star on this reason alone.

I use this on the front of my truck to carry my 100lb E bike, I find it easier to load and then strap this bike onto this rack then it is in the back of my truck but ....putting the rack on the. Front of my truck each and every time is a pain i* t** a**.
