I love that I no longer have to scoop the litter. My cats love the box too. I have two cats, ages 13 & 2. Both took to the product immediately & stopped using their other litter box.
My make cat does tend to dig in litter and try to poop/pee on the bottom of it, which has caused a malfunction once. Additionally the liner needs changed on average once a week. You could conceivably use kitchen trash bags instead of their liners, but they're not really that expensive. The app is nice because I can tell when the cycles have run, or run a manual cycle & see the history of when the cats are using the box. I bought the ramp with mine, it helps on catching litter but doesn't attach to the box well at all. The other thing I don't like is that it is quite difficult to put litter into the box. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Update: we started to have flashing blue lights again when using black or gray bags inside the litter robot. Use white kitchen trash bags and no longer have the problem!! Turning the robot inside the cabinet for cleaning is no problem. Aside from turning the robot itself, it is actually easier to empty because it is raised. I bought this for my daughter who put it together so I can't review the assembly, although I guess I would have heard, lol. It arrived in 2 boxes which I could not lift by myself.
This credenza replaces the long fence we used to separate the cat area from our dogs. I love it.
