I have wooden blinds in my house that are about 20 years old. The pull string to raise the blinds in one of my windows broke recently. It was either buy new blinds or fix it myself. It took a long time to thread it through the whole pully system, but it worked like a charm. This saved me from buying new blinds. I have plenty of spare when the other blinds start falling apart.

I got this to restring my venitian blinds that broke. I didn't realize how cheap the original pull cords were until I installed this string which is a bit thicker and way better than the original pull cords my blinds came with. I will definitely buy more when I need it.
