It fits!! So excited about that, I got a 2XL because I'm busty and I'm blessed with a belly. It fits comfortably! The only thing that doesn't fit very well is the white undershirt for the breast area. I am a DDD, so it took some work to fit the girls in there. The apron was especially wrinkly (along with everything else, it's to be expected) and I don't own an iron, so here's to hoping it doesn't shrink in the dryer!

I own a real Drindl from Munich and while this isn't as good of quality, I'm not going to be embarrassed to wear it along side 'real' ones.

Pros:
Nice quality fabric on the dress and undershirt, trim is a little basic but sewn on nicely. Understated vertical pattern matches what I'm used to seeing in traditional drindls. Color is a nice navy with contrasting light blue pattern. it's going to work great as an all blue drindle or with red accessories to make it USA themed (yes, we will be those expats in the tent)
Undershirt is the proper kind (short, adjustable neckline)
Construction of dress and shirt feel like real clothes, not a costume
Laces in both the front and back - the front ones are mostly decorative so don't pull on them too much but the back ones have proper grommets and can be pulled tight. This is really important for getting the right fit on a drindl. I'm not used to seeing drindls with back laces, but it made it so much more convenient to size a dress I ordered off the internet. I'm 5'2, 150 and usually wear a size 8-10. I ordered an XL because I was short on time and knew I could cinch it in if needed. I probably should have gotten the large, but this is still going to work and look flattering. An XL also meant the undershirt was roomier, which is nice since the sleeves tend to be tighter than I'd like.

Cons:
The apron really is very basic and almost bad. I could wear it if needed but it brings down the look. I plan on either making a new red one or adding white trim to the one provided to jazz it up a little.

Overall I'm very happy with it. A "real" drindl is twice the price even when on sale, so this is a great deal. and I'm excited to wear it. Would recommend.

It's really cute and comfy. I ordered the small and I'm 5' and 125 lbs. The white blouse has a draw string in between the chest area and the sleeves weren't too tight which was a problem with another one I tried elsewhere. The dress laces up in both the front and the back, making it conform to your body nicely.
I think it had a zipper on the side, but I kind of forget. I only returned it because I ended up picking a different dirndl in the end because it matches my boyfriend's outfit more, but I really really wish I could have kept both and couldn't recommend this enough. Unfortunately I couldn't come up with a good enough reason to own and pack 2 dresses for our trip.
