This is a perfect gift for 5-senior age! This is a great remote control car that is fun for the whole family. We accidentally received two and thank goodness as it is hours of fun! Take it camping, on walks in the snow, pavement, grass or dirt!

I am updating my review because after I posted this, the seller reached out and offered to replace the car with a new one. The new one has been working well so far and their customer service was just STELLAR.
We really had high hopes for this car. It was a smaller version of a bigger car that my older son got. It doesn't connect well to the remote and then the tiny button on the on off switch broke off and we have to use a pin to turn it on and off. Then it just stopped connecting and working altogether even after we charged it. Missed the return window by a week and I'm super bummed.

We purchased two of these for our kiddos and quickly after receiving them, the wheels on one of them stopped functioning on one side. Contacted USA Toyz customer service and they were wonderful to work with; quick responses, solid communication, and after troubleshooting didn't yield results, they sent us a replacement car within a week. Really appreciative of their coming through for us with such a quick turnaround.
The car itself does what it's supposed to; the remote control is a bit difficult to get precise movements out of and the wheels pick up a lot of hair and debris, but there's a fun "demo mode" that makes it easier for younger kids to enjoy time with it. We weren't looking for anything too complicated, so this is a fun, zippy little car that suits our kids' needs and steering skill levels right now. The cat enjoys chasing it around, too.

Just like the other 1 and 2 star reviews, it only lasted two weeks before issues popped up. Loud gear noise, controller knob sticks, and the wires came out of the charger because it's very tight when removing the battery. Wanted to write a good review but the quality and design just isn't there. Buyer beware. Sorry.
(UPDATE) Company replaced the car immediately and added a new product as a bonus for the inconvenience. The new car works great so far after 6 days so hopefully the first car was just a lemon. Kudos to the company for sending a replacement (and using expedited shipping via USPS) along with a bonus new product which was a tiny car that runs in circles but did entertain my kid. They also followed up a week later with a "hand" written letter saying they hope the replacement was acceptable and that I was satisfied. So I can recommend this vendor with two thumbs up. Now thats customer service. Thanks.

- first one was a bit defective, but the company handled the issue well so I'm giving the stars right back
- The wheels don't actually spin at the same speed, so driving on a perfectly even floor will still result in the car veering to the side
- Arrived damaged. I submitted a ticket, so I'll update with how that goes!
