Nice gift for my granddaughters! The color of the backpack matches the items included then no worries about which one belongs to each, the flashlight you need to first find the button that releases the crank to recharge the batteries thank you to all that assisted with information, for the price I feel it's a great deal. The compass very detailed my finance was in the Boy Scouts and brought back great memories of reading maps and hiking. Not to sure what the girls will think about the spider though :)

I think the product is great and it is going to make a wonderful gift for my nephew, but I was disappointed with the lack of diversity on the packaging. I really wish the the illustrations on the box included a more racially diverse group of kids. I think it's important for kids to see characters that look like themselves, especially as we foster a love for outdoor activities.

My daughter and I took the grandkids hiking and they loved it (ages 2-7). We have a camping trip coming so we decided to get one for each of the kids. I was surprised at how nice the products included are. For the price I was expecting flimsy toys but everything is sturdy and will actually be useful for them (once taught) should they get lost on our next hike. I'd add a photo but I'm having their names put on the bags since they're all alike.
