I recently purchased the Spy Hidden Camera Power Bank, and I must say, I'm quite impressed with its features and functionality. This device combines the convenience of a power bank with the discreet surveillance capabilities of a hidden camera, making it a versatile tool for various situations. The camera records in crisp and clear HD 1080P resolution .Now, let's delve into the Spy Hidden Camera Power Bank. While it's marketed as a 1080P camera, it doesn't quite reach that pinnacle, hovering instead between 720P and 1080P. However, The video quality was a significant improvement. Colors were vivid and not washed out, provided there was adequate lighting. Fast movements did introduce some blurriness, but for my use case of setting it on a table for discreet recording, it proved more than satisfactory.

Before I review this item, I want to mention that I had previously ordered a wireless charger and an alarm clock with hidden cameras. Both items were advertised as having 2K and 4K video resolution. This was far from the truth. At best, video quality on these items were 720P but closer to 480P with the video quality being poor. Audio was also non-existent unless you spoke directly to the microphone that was located underneath the unit. On a 1 to 10 scale, I'd rate the video as being a 3 and the audio as being 1. Needless to say, I returned these two items. This is where I truly appreciate the return policy and convenience of ordering through Amazon.

As for this power bank unit, while it's advertised as 1080P, it's not quite there but it's decent enough. I'd say somewhere between 720P and 1080P. I can say that compared to the previous two items I mentioned above, the video picture quality was the best. Color was good and not washed out, provided you have adequate lighting. Fast movement will result in blurry video but for my use case of just setting it down on a table to record, it was just fine. It was also very straightforward to use. No need to install an app, and no wi-fi capabilities. Both of these are features I did not need and was pleased with the simplicity of the device. It just does what I needed it to do, which is record good and decent quality video and audio with a push of a button. I recorded footage indoors and outdoors with decent results. I haven't performed any kind of capacity testing, but I was able to just leave the unit to record for at least 3 hours straight and it still had plenty of battery life left according to the LED lights. A 5 minute clip is around 600MB, so an hour will take up around 7GB to 8GB of memory card space. I was able to use a microSD card that I had laying around that was already formatted with exFAT filesystem. Contrary to other posts that I've read before purchasing this, exFAT does indeed work. For video quality, I'd rate this a 7 out of 10. For audio, I'd rate it a 6 out of 10. The previous hidden camera units I mentioned above were 3x to 5x more expensive compared to the price of this. So this is truly a good value compared to other similar products out there. I do recommend this. It's a keeper for me since I'm happy with the video recordings.

I was going to post a sample video clip but I decided against it due to privacy reasons. I saw another reviewer posted a video clip before I ended up ordering it. I can confirm that their sample video clip is an accurate representation of what to expect

The fact that the cameras are not hidden is not so cool. The cameras are quite obvious and there is even a power button on the back that does nothing except turn the cameras on and blinks an LED which would make it obvious to anyone that there is a camera there. Overall it works as I was hoping so still 5 stars but not anything to use as a spy camera.

Easy to use and great video quality. I have used it a couple of times and it's really good. One of the things I like is that not only it can be used as a camera but you can use it to recharge your phone.

The good price and a big volume. It's enough for 2 or 3 times to charge iPhone.
I have a different power bank at my home but I use this power bank every day.
