Cheap but actually durable!

This car is a blast! I've had it for a few weeks and have totally beat on it and it surprisingly has only broken one little part that was very easy and cheap to replace. It's fast, responsive and handles really well. Great intro car to the rc hobby, fast and durable!
Great paid 28 but exposure to 380 so motor replacement easy

Great truck I run traxxas team associated axial Arrma and ecx its not traxxas but it is not less surprising than it was on here for years I thought awe toys no good now the had clearance 2 years prices were 10th scale 200 ish 160 usually brushed models 1/16 120 and 1/20 89 and I got the 16th 2 for 28 each yeah almost bought 5 but I thought I could try then buy and nope all gone but brushless 16th in a 2 day period they got 3 more I saw a week later I got another they handle as well if not better than traxxas tq remote the 120 as well I got one of those with the blue hood yellow aqua man fork on it looks awesome deal was great the 20 does about 15 to 20 mph and one downfall shocks are only coil over fake oil filled shocks but moved with smooth ease and easy to put 16 dollars in a set of 4 star oil filled the 16th as well the tenth has headlamp and tail lights bright very all 3 have working foglights but the tenth is oil filled 6 shocks work well does a honest 30 as advertised and my only complaint is it is to easy to Hitt reverse double braking not even full strokes but has great steel driveshafts all 3 models 4 wheel drive and the tenth on clearance has 4 shocks in rear but they also all use deans plug better than traxxas design but yeah great trucks I wish now so much I got the 16th brushless 160 down to 70 all gone sonic triton and the tenth is same as legendary purple white black yellow and blue yellow white both beautiful both 169 I paid 56 each got 2 10th scales and paid 16 for a blue yellow white body I looked em over all 3 are the exact same designs 2 at 170 one black yellow red 56 gone now but the 20th scale are set 2 38 now and hosim or haiboxing is selling the exact truck 2 body's for 89 or 99 I realize that's the reason there trying to get 1 brand but so many from same factory different brands and prices just pay attention to detail realize there's only so many factorys and I work at one making cheese for pizza for like 5 companies pizza hut Dominos papa both lols so my poor typos im basically said that legendary rc is having an actual clearance event in 3 designs and scales starting with the most prominent 10th scale Legendary Legend is what I refer to it as its not the same as the real Legend model but it is a good quality rc truck at 56 dollars for everything needed to operate it and it slides on asphalt well in a 180 degree swing no rollover issues! The 16th scale is 28 dollars and I've had a few of these trucks awhile and there durable and easy to fix there performance is as good as the other 16th scale rc trucks that are not top of the line brands but are great for the price! And I honestly think out of all the budget models in 16th scale rc truck non brushless there one of the best overall quality and functional! The 20th scale are 38 great price and is awesome im not much of a mini rc gut but these on smooth asphalt are fast enough to outrun a man and do 15 plus mph doesn't seem fast try it you won't regret buying it for 100 or less it's a decent car bezgar has one equal and identical to it as well it'd not a indoor rc cars to fast but has a good little transmitter and all transmitters of the 3 work fine with any model so little boy can get a 20th scale rc remote and drive the 10th scale truck for people who are not near smooth enough surface not that you can't off road with them you can always run them wherever I just meant you want the most capable rc truck in your budget legendary won't let you down gently they slam through the issues theoretically and physically!! No im not being paid to say this or compensation in any way other than the quality the 2 year old set of legendary trucks I've had only needed new motors after miles and miles of fun and I replaced them easily!
Impressive RC car when compared to competitors (on Amazon) in the similar price level

I'll preface by saying I'm an entry-level RC car buyer, so if you're looking to go hardcore and fork out $300-$400+ on an RC car, you might want to go the Traxxas, etc. route. If you're looking for a high-quality entry-level RC car to drive around on the street/yard with your kids, neighbors, etc. then this is a good bet.
PROS:
- This car is by far the best on Amazon at this price range. It's fast (averages around 25-27+ mph at top) and handles extremely well. A few of the dads and kids bought RC cars recently and we all race them around on the road. A few are really similar in type and cost level (other 1/10 or 1/16 cars on Amazon in the $150 range) and I gotta say this one definitely shines.
- It also beats them out with longer battery life - the 40+ mins of operation is definitely attainable using two batteries, where most other cars only make it about 20 tops.
- The enclosed battery compartment is extremely underrated as it protects the car from getting fried when going through a puddle. Most others are open and are more susceptible to damage on the interior.
- You are going to need replacement parts for any RC car if it's a) powerful and b) has longevity - just a fact. I gotta say the customer support at Laegendary is pretty dang good. I had a question about a part the first week I had the car and they responded quickly and gave me exactly what I needed.
- The parts on the car are for the most part pretty durable - you'll be surprised by the quality when you see it.
CONS:
- Conversely on the previous point, some of the parts are less durable. For instance, the front bumper is plastic and is almost certain to break at some point if you go off road or do jumps. This isn't much of a "con" on the product - just pointing out that it may need to be replaced if both struts crack on you. It does need to absorb shock so I understand why it's designed the way it is.
- With a brushed motor, you will feel some heat if you use this for an extended period of time (40+ mins straight of driving). That's expected and isn't too much of a "con" - just be aware that it is a downfall when comparing to its brushless counterpart.
I've taken this out for about 5-6 runs already and honestly can't think of any other cons on it. Note, I've been pretty rough on it already as well going off jumps and having plenty of collisions. My main advice on keeping this thing running as long as possible would be:
a) know how to go off jumps correctly avoiding huge crashes on the ground. The shocks are pretty good and can absorb force on the tires. However, if you're constantly landing on the sides/rolling/etc. you're bound to jar something loose at some point.
b) don't be afraid to inspect your car after long runs/crashes/etc as you'll avoid the big issues by making the small fixes when they come up. Remember to periodically tighten the lug nuts on your wheels as well.
Definitely recommend this car - if you're a situation like mine you're bound to make everyone jealous of your good car.

Not for huge jumps and thrashing straight out of the box..

First you need to decide what kind of driving your wanting to do with this rc. For its price point its extremely fast and fun to run as long as your not jumping it or using it in areas where youll probably crash into stuff. Also not a car i would buy as my 1st rc. Youll want to do yourself a favor and upgrade the front control arms, suspension holders and shock tower with the carbon shock tower and aluminum suspension parts. I put about 250$ on top of the purchase price to get mine to the point where in comfortable jumping it off dirt jumps and thrashing it a bit. I enjoy tinkering on it and upgrading parts so if you're not like me youll probably want to go another direction and get something more durable right out the box since this car has all metal drivetrain but all the other pieces are the weak points that are still plastic and youll easily break them.
At this point ive got all aluminum pieces possible and have upgraded the esc for even more speed and torque but it can run 3s out of the box which really wakes this rc up but youll most definitely break stuff running it on 3s.
New tires and changing out the oil in the shocks to like 50-70wt oil will really help with the body roll and jump landings..
All this being said laegendary backs their cars well and when my car broke stuff they sent me parts for free within the first year of owning it. Just dont tell them if you did some crazy things with it and it broke that way.! If you did then its on you then and youll be paying for the new parts. "Fryracing" amazon seller has all the aluminum parts available and they are who ive bought all my stuff from.
To wrap this up my opinion is that this is a fun budget car that you can throw a few upgrades on and smoke the more expensive rcs in speed and handling just dont expect it to do backflips n land as hard as the traxxis or arrma top end rcs do and keep going like nothing happened. Tinkering on it was and still is a large part of the enjoyment i get out of it. (A good dremel will be your best friend)
Its just not a stunt monster more of a racer.

Its pretty good quality and with it being so cheap u can upgrade everything. Its not slow but its not as fast as id like but 50 bucks and get a big brushless motor kit for all your speed needs. Ran it every day with extra batteries for a couple hours a day and i love it.. jumps great great control and seems to be pretty tough.. highly recommend
