Our six-year old granddaughter is so fascinated by sharks so when I saw this I knew she had to have it for the pool. It was a huge hit. She loved it and it fit perfectly. Straps easy to adjust and the fin is really nice quality. The little tote bag is also a nice way to take it on the go. She plans to make it part of her Halloween costume this year. I highly recommend for all the shark loving kids out there!

Good fin, but I'm not swimming with it

Looking for a shark costume for my Weimaraner. Most of the actual costumes were ill fitting and he seemed to be between sizes as the covered most of his body and folded behind his neck. This fin works well. Fits my dog comfortably. I used a small black tie across his chest to keep the straps from sliding back and twisting when I loosened them. He didn't complain about wearing this. It also fits the humans well. Adjusts to fit me and also my 13 year old son. It would easily fit a younger child- I would guess about 5 years and up.

Looks like it floats but I'm not sure it would work as a flotation device. However it may increase buoyancy for a skilled swimmer.

My 8 year old son is obsessed with this! It works well as flotation but also easy together on and off and great quality material. I'd say don't purchase if your child isn't a good swimmer, they won't be able to turn over and could panic being forced to stay stomach down. But, if they're good swimmers, this is great and loads of fun! I was impressed with the quality of it.

This was a gift and it was a perfect fit, plus our 7 year old great grandson was very excited to get it!
