These aren't too hard to open and close but aren't easy to fall off either, the only times they've come undone is from my toddler tugging at my ears at night.
I bought these after losing some more expensive hoops from etsy and have had them on constantly for two months and they haven't caused a reaction or turned green.
I wasn't used to them being thicker than my old ones at first but I barely notice they're there unless they clink together or I wear full on headphones.
Bought a second pack because I want to get more ear piercings and have them same kind of hoops in all of them.

I wear hoops practically every day, and prefer ones that I can leave in for long periods of time and even sleep in. These ones fit the bill. My ears are double pierced, and I wear the largest in the first holes and the smallest pair in the second holes. I've had them in for a week now, showering and sleeping, and they are perfect. I prefer this type of clasp as they are easy and feel secure. I also appreciate that they are stainless and will not tarnish. Great purchase.

The one-star reviewers have a point about the difficulty of getting these earrings to snap shut. If you have a friend or family member to help, that is ideal. If you are alone, these earrings are still easier to put in than endless hoop earrings because the hinge makes them easier to insert into your earlobe. Just be patient about getting them to snap shut.
If you have "free" earlobes (as opposed to "attached" earlobes) I recommend at least the 10 mm size. Piercing along the ear higher up than the lobe might take some orders and returns to find the best size.
These are made in China, if that matters to you. And please don't jump my case about being racist, Mom and Dad both came from mainland China and I am lucky enough to be an American-born Chinese person. It might matter to some of you that these earrings are imported from China.
These earrings are comfortable, affordable, easy to sleep in and wear for several days. I have zero complaints about allergic reactions or anything else about the quality of these earrings.
