adhesive vs summer heat

Dashboard pad doesn't work

The suction cup to attach this to a windshield works perfectly. The arm is adjustable and it hasn't fallen once. however, the dashboard pad that adheres to the dash so you can place it there doesn't stick if you live anywhere that has a chance of getting above 85 F. The adhesives melts and the whole thing topples forward and off the dash. If you would like to buy this because of the dashboard pad, I would advise picking another product. If you would like something you hold your phone and attaches to the windshield then I would definitely recommend it.

This thing has been rather amazing, I wanted to place it on my dash but sadly the adhesive wasn't too good so it got loose with the weight of the phone (it's not even a heavy phone) but I placed it on the windshield with the suction cup and it's been there ever since. It's an immensely helpful tool to have specially when driving state to state and on busy streets.

Overall this works just fine if you don't mind a little wobble. I attached this mount to my windshield and because of how small my car is I had to place the little support piece further back than I would have liked. Because of this, the support arm jangles around a bit.
As another side note, my phone has a case with a pop socket built in, so I REALLY have to pay attention to how well it's secured, otherwise that sucker just pops out due to the wobble.
Installation was easy as long as you follow the directions, and even when the mount has baked in Texas heat/sunshine it hasn't come undone in the month I've had it.
So! Overall? I'd say it's good for a car with enough dash for you to thoughtfully place/support this bad boy. And if you have a phone with a pop socket, just pay a little more attention to securing it before your drive.
