I tried it for a laser engraver's air assist compressor, but it really didnt move enough air for it be effective. Otherwise it seemed to work fine for its intended purpose.

While the pump is just a bit noisy, but considering the air flow it isn't bad. It does get a little warm, so leave room for air flow around the pump when installing it.
Wrong unit sent. Order check values doesn't come with.

Unit is great for being labeled a 2 but clearly not. Overall after check values and new 1/4" hose it produces.
Will run a little hot but area on the floor never got over 79°F.
Be sure to soak the stones 24 hour prior to use.
Cons:
Hoses are trash very soft and will easily bend.
Why wouldn't you include check values. Cause when it power cycles you probably will have to buy another one due to back flow.

While it seemed quite loud at first plug in, I found it is the noise of the air popping out of the compressor, not the sound of the running pump. I expect it will not be so loud when the air is being used. The volume of air is impressive. I will be using it to blow the smoke from a laser diode etching/cutting machine, which is not here yet.
