We use the shapes a lot and cards that come with the shapes. The cards guide the children through various ways to place the shapes. It's a great building resource which has colors and patterns. The pieces are lightweight and withstand being tossed around. The students can manipulate these pieces to make a nice project which helps bring the unexpected to the usual expected of tangrams.

This line of products are amazing!! Learning Resources has many items like this one.
The blocks have no sharp corners. We have all the sets and not one of the blocks patterns have rubbed of. They all look brand new. Note.. these get played with all the time.
The cards are sturdy and coated to keep them lasting.
The box... NOT a cheap recycled box they with everytime you open it to play. It is very thick and sturdy!!! A PLUS for me. Keeping all the pieces together.
The games are challenging and will keep the kids wanting to come back and play more.
The BRAINOMETRY has smaller blocks then the other products in this line.
In my opinion for more of a challenging game for kids that have mastered the bigger block puzzles.
This BRAINOMETRY is a bit more difficult with smaller blocks and puzzles.
