... but I can't. As you go along in life, there are only so many tiny delights.
I remembered as a kid spending afternoons reading with a handful of Brach's nougats with jelly bean-like things in them. Biting them in half so I could separate the nougat from the jellies then savor each one in turn. I think it took me over 10 minutes per piece.
Anyway, these aren't the originals we liked in the 60s or 70s because the texture is a bit more marshmellow-like but that's not all bad. The vanilla flavor is probably more pronounced, but I can't be sure. My latest batch (there have been 4) seems even fresher and softer and that ain't bad!

i used to get these years and years ago and i really liked them so i bought them. the texture is not quite the same but close, they taste pretty much the same though and if you're like me and remember them from long ago i think you'll like them also
