This has to be one of the best purchases I have ever made for my hair! I have 4B fine hair and never got any of the benefits people would exclaim their hair was receiving when I used conditioners and leave-ins till now! As a natural I was taught to avoid heat, well HEAT is growing my hair and keeping it conditioned for days on days. My wash day comes around and I feel like skipping it because my hair is still holding moisture and the products stretch from sitting under this cap and letting it warm up on my hair so my strands will open and take it in.
It does not get very hot, know that. It gets a comfortable noticeable WARM but it works magic, no ouches like with the heat cap that attached to your dryer, that's loud and pops off and burns your ears if it gets to hot, Not this!! It has no noise at all! You can be on your phone or laptop and forget you are wearing it. Automatically cools down after a while and you're usually set, but if you want longer just turn off/ back on and it heats right back up! I go longer than the usual 25-30 min requirement for most products because it is so soothing and relaxing due to the perfect temperature of heat. Ladies you need this. I don't think its good for over big rollers, maybe small perm rods. but hey I learned when I do want to switch to a flat-iron style and curls I finger curl them and pin them down with bobby pins and then use this with an oil for a hot treatment-n-set without having to wet my head just yet to extend my wash day while straightened! This is a winner!!

I just got mine today but it came with no instructions LOL So I haven't used it yet because I need to research instructions. It's literally just a cap in a box with no instructions lol. I bought this after reading that a heated cap may help my low porosity hair.
