First, look at the price. The picture you see is fully assembled and of course it makes it look nicer than it actually is. You are not going to get 12 high end solid already assembled rigid plastic storage bins with easy open fronts. Also, these do not slide out.

These are mass produced sheets of strong plastic that come completely flat made to expand into a shape of a box. So these are flexible and only rigid once the ends are assembled. Assembly is required and requires a bit of patience on the first one.

In saying that, shoes should not require a strong storage box and these work fine unless you plan to use it every day all the time. I would recommend for storage & not for repeated use by many people. For shoes being used daily, I'd recommend something else or just use a regular shoe rack.

Many styles of shoes will stand up straight in the box, but high heels may have to be turned sideways. I have also used for baseball caps as well.

Assembly. It is very SIMPLE but patience is required! Expand the plastic sheets and make it form a box shape. Bend inward all tabs on both ends. Position the back onto one end and click in one side, then use your hands to guide the edges into the back, click in sides. Repeat for other end, paying attention to which way you want the little door to open. First few were slow, then it was easy from there on out.
You have 12 to do so you might want to do a few of the same movements at the same time, or get someone to help.
These will stack. You must push out the stacking tabs. The box on top has tabs on the bottom to slide into the top sides of box below to make it sturdy.

Is this high end? No. Use care when opening the little door.
Does it work well in the top of a closet? Yes. It took a lot of clutter and organized it very well, off the floor and into spaces we were not using.
We bought another set for out closet so for what it is, we recommend it.

I was a little skeptical at first, but trusting the reviews I went ahead and gave these a shot.
I like them a lot! Easy/ fun to put together, I still wasn't convinced though, a little flimsy, we'll see once we get em into actual use.
After getting them set up and locked together, sturdiness was not a factor, they work fine, they work great :)
Mens, size 10-11. + As an important side note THEY WORK GREAT FOR HATS (caps/ snapbacks) AS WELL!
For taller, high top style shoes, I was able to turn them on their sides, heel to toe, and they fit just fine.
I have around 50 pairs of shoes, and a ton of (many expensive) hats, so I just ordered a second, and third batch.
I'm not the biggest on leaving reviews, but when Im teetering on a product, and end up pleasantly surprised, it's important to let others know, to help them make a confident and informed purchase.
I would not suggest these for larger than 12 (i think they say that in the listing).
AS of now, I have mine stacked at four high and there's not a present weight issue etc.
I'd definitely recommend for the price and multi use factors. :)

I received the boxes today and set them up in my closet, they're ok, but not what I expected. They don't look like the pictures shown. The pictures show clear boxes, what I received is not clear, they are more on the foggy white side. They're also pretty flimsy if used individually, you have to stack them if you want them to be a bit sturdier so they can support each other, but even then, they're still a bit on the flimsy side. Also, be sure to check the dimensions for what you need. I got the Large and it doesn't fit a 2 inch heel with the shoe standing upright. I still made it work, just laid the shoes on their side as if it were an actual shoe box, so not that big of a deal for me but I figured I'd mention it for size reference. Overall, they're ok, worked for what I wanted, but not what I expected from the pictures. I should've know though, as the pictures are renderings and not actual product photos.

I purchased several of these and my closet is not only organized but these look fantastic. I cut down tremendously on show box space as I always kept my shoes in the original boxes. Now all boxes are the same size and space is condensed. I also fit 2 pair of heels into one box for extra space savings. I did have 1 door out of the 2 sets I bought not fit snuggly but all the other boxes were good quality.

The one thing that I don't like is the marketing tactics. The 12 box set has been offered at $39.99 for quite awhile. The day before Prime Day 10/10/23, this company offered a $10 off coupon. But on Prime Day, they gave the value at $54.99 and "marked down 40%' making the cost $32.99 instead of getting a deal at $29.99 with the $10 coupon. Amazon marketing tactics are very sneaky so you have to watch. Not happy with the bait and switch.

They were easy to assembly after you do one. I used them for my sneakers, doors will swing open if not snapped properly and I put my hand on top one while putting sneakers away and it cracked, but for the price they serve their purpose
