Although these are clearly not for climbing, they are perfect for keeping things orderly and preventing loss. I use them on hats, openers on my cooler and tools. There are so many uses and really nothing else works as well. Yeah, they're flimsy compared to more expensive models, but you don't need a $25 cabariner for hanging on to a beer opener for your beach cooler. Once you get a few (get the larger 3" size) you'll find tons of uses.
