My Wife is lactose intolerant and can't have anything but cheddar (for some odd reason). Lets just say Milk products in our lives don't mix so well. We got this "experimenting" on something to allow us to have nachos. Normally we use Lactose Free Milk, and melt cheddar down in the pot slowly to make a sauce. It's time consuming and often creates a mess to clean up later. This product allowed her to just dish it out into a container, heat it up, and put it on top of her nachos. Quick and easy and less of a mess. I would say its taste is surprisingly good. (high in sodium) but not bad! I will continue to make home made as it's cheaper (it's selling for $12.+ right now per jar), but having this as a backup or for a quick and easy is a plus.

Recommend heating up and mixing with salsa. If you do this, it tastes great. If you don't, and try to eat by itself, you will feel like you are eating cardboard tasting glue.
