This jewelry tree is well made and a great value for the price. When comparing with other trees I was particularly attracted to the fleece covering that envelopes the arms of the tree. Understanding the effects of galvanic corrosion it is unwise to put dissimilar metals together such as silver, gold, brass etc. as contact will result in corrosion or tarnishing. Therefore, seeing there are many metal armed jewelry trees available, I avoided them in favor of this one as the padding is better for fine pieces and the fleece prevents metal to metal contact thus preserving the beauty of the jewelry. The arms are so well machined that when you twist them into their color coded sockets they form a perfect "T" and stop perfectly where they should be. Well designed, engineered and made at a great price.
