A wondrously fun to compilation.

History that I did not know before, told with style and panache. Excellent for relieving boredom, and fun to read aloud to (some) friends and family. There are some children I would prefer not to inspire. But as comfortable armchair reading, a delight. I hope the author collects another volume of this quality. Soon.

I enjoyed your book immensely and give you credit for uncovering small but very strange twists of history that leave us wondering ...what were they thinking?.
I have one request however. Knowing your proclivity for humour this may be difficult for you to obtain but in the future .....please.... I beg of you!! Stop with the stupid puns at the end of each story! They actually diminished the enjoyment ( at least for me) of the book. One or two, alright, I get that, but not every one!
Otherwise ...very entertaining and eye opening.
