Wonderfully light and useful

I use these to lay out blocks for quilting. I did not hang them on the wall. I thought that the materials used were very nice. The boards are covered with a lightweight fleece that holds material well. I expected, based on the listening, that the entire backs would be covered with fleece. Such is not the case; the fleece is pulled tightly around the back on each board and glued. I was a bit disappointed that the backs did not look nicer (and that the boards could not be flipped), but overall I am pleased with the purchase. These boards would be great for someone who wants to create a design wall using command hooks.

It is just big enough for the wall space I have. A block sticks well without pins. A bigger piece needs to be pinned! But very worthwhile.

Used the wall design to hang my quilt pieces. Was quite satisfied how well they stuck. We stuck the boards to the wall with command strips and it is sticking well. Very glad I ordered this.

It does the job. Easy to put up for one person. They are about 1/2 inch thick foam board with a light weight fleece glued to them. There is glue on both sides so when unpacking you have to peel the packing bubbles off from the backs. The recommended anchors are Command strips. Even though there is glue on the back (just tacky) the command strips did not easily adhere. I ended up leaving the command strips on the backs of the boards and on the walls overnight to help them adhere before putting the boards back onto the walls. They are still up. Hopefully they will stay up. The quilt blocks stay on with no pins.
They get a 4 star for ease of use and the fact that they work. I think they are overpriced for what they are made of.
I couldn't get a large piece of insulation board home in my car to make my own so this was my best alternative. Also, the size allows you to configure your own board. My available space was 78" and wide by length of wall which is obstructed by storage cabinets. So I used 6 boards of 8 purchased (1 set has 4 boards in it). 3 across is 72" by about 65" long. Perfect fit for my space. I'm going to use the other two boards for configuring individual blocks closer to the sewing area.
UPDATE: I purchased one more set for a complete floor to ceiling design wall. The blocks stay on great.

More Versatile than Expensive Designer Version

I bought these because I just did not want to PAY for another expensive (Lori Holt) version, although I do like hers. These are a rectangle rather than a square which I find works better in my space. Also I can afford to have a dozen so I can stack all my cut quilt pieces for each project. AND these have the ability to be attached to a wall edge to edge to create a design wall as large or small as your space allows. These are very high quality. I actually prefer the texture of these as well. Highly recommend this product
