Writing this before using them on a trip so I can't yet comment on how they perform in use. May revise this review later on. But filling them was very easy. The flat ends mean you can flip them upside down and they'll sit still on your counter while you fill them up. I got the pink and purple set. The picture here shows four different shades of bottles, but mine came in only two shades. I wasn't going to remember what was in what anyway, so I labeled them by writing product types in Sharpie on the white plastic thing going around the opening. It's not the prettiest, but it will do.
