I called Chamberlain's 800 #. They are incredibly helpful, but since I bought two opens for each of my garage doors they should sound identical. Not these machines. One motor is noisier than the other. When I called Chamberlain said they would send me a new motor which I have to install on my time after I paid a contractor to put it up so I can save time and not mess with this myself the way I did 12 years ago. One unit was built in January 2023 and the other in March 2023. They apologized but did not understand why Amazon had old merchandise. Hmmm? That doesn't explain a bad motor straight from the factory. Either way, disappointed that I have to waste more time on this project after killing one day already. Once up they are functioning well. The rep helped me set up the app which is a great feature. just be prepared to climb up and down your ladder a few times to do so.

Overall positive as it works very well. I installed myself replacing a Liftmaster, so did not have to worry about positioning as the mounts used for the Liftmaster worked for the Chamberlain. The BILT app was great as it led you through a step by step process to assemble and wire.

I would have rated this 5 stars except I was disappointed that my Model B2405 did not (1) come with a door control that had a motion sensor to automatically turn on the lights nor did it have a timer to close the door after a set period of time. (2) The keyless entry allows you to program only one garage door forcing me to go with 2 keypads for my 2 garage doors.

I had to replace an older screw-drive garage door opener. This unit took me about 2 hours in total to install by myself. Since my old opener had a non-typical mount, I had to also buy an angle bracket kit to install this.

Physical installation was straight forward. Once plugged in, I did have to call tech support to get the unit to work, as I apparently missed a step during setup. Before this unit will even attempt to open or close your door, you MUST perform a one-time setup of the door positioning. Pay close attention to the setup instructions!

This opener has all the features most people will need:
1) Quiet operation
2) Wifi connectivity - allowing operation from your smart phone. This is very nice as you can check the open or closed status by looking at the app incase you can't remember if you forgot to close it!
3) Standard safety features (auto-reverse, obstacle sensors)

There is a higher end version that includes a camera, but I already had a blink system, so this was perfect.

Well, you need some patience to mount these things, it's the third or fourth I've replaced in 30 years. I used five hours from start to finish.
I used the BILT app which facilitated all instead of just reading the manual. Everything went together and functioned at the first try. I had read a review that said the up and down travel adjustments were problematic, however for me they were easy and maybe better than whatever we were using before.
The belt drive is definitely quieter than the old screw drive, however you still know when someone has opened the door.
Also with the myQ app you can open the door using your cell phone.
The two included remotes plus the keypad remote worked great and function at a greater distance than whatever I've had before.
Lastly, and unfortunately, I couldn't get the unit to link up with my car's built-in remotes. Maybe I'll try again but nothing seemed to work. I guess I'll call tech support.
If I had to install another opener tomorrow, I'd buy the same one 😉

It was straightforward to install. I was able to do it by myself. It is very quiet compared to the two other chain-driven openers that I already had. The soft close for the last 6 inches is nice. This unit has a battery backup which is good since I have no other entrance than the main garage door.

I bought and installed a Chamberlain Group G7702CB-P Chamberlain 7702CB Quick Release Lock garage door opener part(Package May Vary), Silver, 2.25 x 1.13 x 1.31 inches in case both the power and the battery are out.
