Excellent Opener - Super Quiet - High Quality Camera
PassionHighway ✓ Verified Purchase•October 17, 2023
There are already excellent reviews written about this opener. It is truly a great unit. As many people have noted, it is whisper quiet. Love it!
We replaced a Liftmaster that was about 8 years old. The unit wireless module quit working and it was out of manufacturer. The motor unit was working fine. The entire unit had to be replaced unless I wanted to install an external receiver. My only concern with this one is the electronics. If they go out it does not look easy or even possible to fix. I will update this post if I ever have any issues with it.
I love the MyQ app. I could not tell you how many times we asked ourselves if we closed the garage door when leaving! The MyQ lets you see if the door is open or not without needing to look at the camera. I have integrated it with a Tesla as well. The car also shows the open/close status. No more worrying about leaving the garage door open. A quick check will confirm. One can click the open/close button from anywhere. Excellent!
The camera on the unit is another really nice touch. It has a perfect wide-angle view to see the entire 2-car garage opening. There is no way to enter the garage without being seen on the camera. If you subscribe to MyQ, they save the video online to review later. They have 2 subscription plans. One saves the videos for 7 days and the other for 90. For now I just subscribed to 7-days. I don't think I will need to access videos older than that and I can download them if needed. Without a subscription, however, video can only be live-streamed, not saved. There is no way to save video without a subscription. The 7-day one is around $39/year. It is worth it to have video history.
Our unit did not come with a door entry keypad. I don't know if it was supposed to or not. I tried to program our original Chamberlain G940EV-P2 keypad to work with the new unit, but I could not get it to sync with Security +2.0 (yellow button) that is on this door. My previous unit was the purple button. I tried reprogramming it, but it did not take. Since I have the MyQ app and subscribe to the service, I decided to replace the old keypad with the Smart Garage Video Keypad (https://amzn.to/44q2M60). I will write another review on it, but it is outstanding so far. The video quality is excellent, it integrates perfectly with MyQ, and it supports multiple entry codes that get saved into a history log. The only drawback to the keypad is that it will only control one garage door. We have a gated driveway. Our old remote would also transmit to the gate. Similar issue if you were to have 2 garage doors. You would need a Smart keypad on each door. One keypad cannot open a second garage door opener. It also only supports Security +2.0 garage doors. It will not work with older units.
The B6753T was shipped with 2 garage door openers, but the ones sent only support Security +2.0. They cannot be synced with any other receiver type. Like I said above, we have two gates on our property that are remote operated. The Chamberland opener has 3 buttons, but the ones shipped cannot work with any other type of receiver. Fortunately, we had G953EV-P2 remotes. Those are programmable remotes. There is a program button on the back that allows the user to set the type of receiver being used. Button 1 can be used with the main door Security +2.0, button 3 can be used with the gate... I tossed the openers that came with the unit. They look identical to the G953EV-P2. FYI, the remotes that are sent are 953ESTD. They are Security +2.0 compatible only. 953EV/EVC (https://amzn.to/3Pfd3h1) remotes are programmable. There is a small button under the clip on the back that when pressed that allows one to change the opener type.
- Press the program button, click the key you want to change 1 time for Security +2.0, then press another button to save. Pressing 2x = purple button, 3x=red/orange button, 4x=green button. 4x is legacy and was the option that worked with our gate control.
Overall I highly recommend the B6753T. If I encounter any issues with it I will update this post.

Best Garage Door Opener

I recently upgraded my garage door opener to the Chamberlain B6753T MYQ Smart Garage Door Opener, and it has been a game-changer for my garage experience. This smart opener has so many features that I've come to appreciate, and it's a substantial improvement over my previous Ryobi unit.
First and foremost, the most noticeable difference is how quiet the Chamberlain operates. No more waking up the entire household with a noisy garage door. The smooth and almost silent operation is a welcome change, and it makes coming and going at odd hours much more discreet.
While the Chamberlain Smart Garage Door Opener doesn't come with the outside keypad, which I wish it did, but you can buy it separately. This keypad adds an extra layer of convenience for family members or guests who need access without a remote or smartphone.
The built-in camera is a fantastic addition. It provides real-time video of your garage, allowing you to check on things remotely and ensuring peace of mind. The app that accompanies the Chamberlain opener is user-friendly and reliable, making it easy to monitor and control your garage door from anywhere.
One of my favorite features is the ability to schedule the door to close at a specific time. It's incredibly handy for ensuring the garage is secure when I'm away or even for setting a routine when I forget to close it at night.
Overall, the Chamberlain MYQ Smart Garage Door Opener has won me over with its quiet operation, smart functionality, and the added convenience of the camera and scheduling features. While the outside keypad is a separate purchase, it's a minor inconvenience compared to the overall benefits this opener brings. If you're looking to upgrade your garage door opener, I highly recommend the Chamberlain B6753T for its modern, smart, and efficient performance. It has truly made managing my garage easier and more secure.

Decent Door Opener Battery Backup was DOA
David✓ Verified Purchase•September 10, 2023
Nice garage door opener. Make sure you buy the installation hardware kit. I think it's super cheesy that the $400 garage door opener doesn't come with the brackets to mount it but that's just my opinion.
The electric motor is noisier than I expected but not a deal breaker.
The battery it came with is dead on arrival so I'm going to have to deal with that now.
The BILT app assembly instructions are not bad. They are decently accurate.
Trying to program my Audi's Homelink to the opener was fun because there's 100 different videos and guides out there but most of them are wrong or for a different generation of Audi and not what they claim to be for.
Long story short. To program Audi A4 B8:
Put door opener in learn mode.
Hold desired Homelink button in Audi down until little red light above it is flashing.
Take garage door opener remote to front of car and hold it close to the drivers side front bumper.
As you are holding it close to drivers side front bumper hold door opener remote button down.
The parking/emergency lights will flash.
Congratulations you have programmed your Homelink button.
Test and enjoy.
PS. You might have to program it a few times before it sticks. I don't know why?

I purchased the
Chamberlain B6753T model, $298 package price on Amazon, based on features & recommendations. My purchased model included belt drive, camera, dual led lights, open from anywhere, battery back up, one-time code entry and 1 1/4 hp electric motor. I chose to pick a local installer verses me undertaking this task. Here's why:
This was a huge plus, as he took 1 hr to install, never looked at any instructions, as Chamberlin is his preference and has done this hundreds and hundreds of time's. He does not sell openers and said he rarely, if any, has a service call on Chamberlin products. He unboxed the product, laying out every piece. I'm telling you, he charged $150 and just to watch the process was worth that. In no time he had the old one down and the new one up. He programed 4 remotes, a outside keypad, inside operator panel and camera without any issues. I'm mechanically inclined, it would have taken me much longer to go step by step piece by piece with reading along...guaranteed.
The unit features belt drive, turns out it's super quiet verses my chain old chain driven. Belt is sturdy and you really shouldn't expect problems. He easily adjusted the belt tension on the ground. The entire unit was put together before hoisted up for final mounting.
The dual led lighting, one light on each end, truly lights my 24x24 garage, corner to corner. Stays on about 30 seconds after closure. The interior panel also allows a push button to turn light on and off as needed.
The camera easily connect to Bluetooth wifi. Great picture, side to side, of everything that's in front of the camera. Has night mode option too. There is a MyQ $39.99 fee yearly to have the video stored 7 days. It sends me an alert and video clip based on my preferences. This to is money well spent. If you drive off you can always see if you closed the door with real time view. Can open and close from anywhere via MyQ app.
Opener allows you to set a close feature. Mine is set to make sure it's closed at 7pm. So if you open it and are doing something else you are assured it closes at a given time.
It has battery back up. According to the installer, based on the battery, which fits inside the opener, he estimates 30-40 openings. Battery stays charged based on a regulator built into the opener.
Overall a little more than most Chamberlin openers but this model is just packed with goodies. I'm of the opinion I've got them and will use them accordingly. I think its about $100 difference and a great value.
I'm now a couple weeks beyond installation and could not be happier with my choice. The installation cost was absolutely worth every penny as it was flawless. My installer was local and not affiliated with Amazon. I definitely suggest you look at buying this model based on my experience.

Subscription for the camera is usage is too much
I buy too much on this website✓ Verified Purchase•August 5, 2023
I purchased this model because Amazon had it cheaper than the non camera model. After you install it, you have 30 days of free video storage. After 30 days, you need to subscribe. No thanks. The video was slow, choppy and pretty unnecessary for me. My wife also commented that the doors open slower than the 10 year old openers they replaced. The messages on your phone when the doors open and close are nice. That is free.
