The fit is good. This catches food particles much better than the originals. I make a point to clean the underside periodically. The strainer cover sticks to the side of the sink until you need it and will seal well if you position it right. Useful item.

The metal strainers are universal and fit in most kitchen sinks. The silicone stoppers are large and cover a good area, but they did not work as well for our sinks, especially without the accompanying metal strainer in place. It sealed mostly, but there was still water that would seep and escape. I think this has to do more with the contour of the sink itself. We still use it for quick jobs, but not for anything that requires standing water for a large period of time, such as deep cleaning or sanitizing.
