Upon arrival, we made an Apple Crisp. We followed the very simple peeler/ corer / slicer instructions. It worked perfectly removing only the thin peeling, the core, and slicing the correct thickness (or thinness in this case) for pie or apple crisp. The finished apple pulls away easily, and a simple top to bottom slice gives you ready-for-pie sized apples. The disposable core slides right off the prongs. This is incredibly easy to use. It is extremely fast. It washes quickly. We did not submerge the rubber suction base, but simply immersed the working parts that make contact with food.
All this and a 5 year warranty. I believe this well made device will long outlive the warranty. It looks to me like decades from now, someone will be saying "this was my grandma's apple peeler."

I've used four different brands of apple peelers. This one arrived after most of my apples had been peeled and cut, but the suction on the bottom was great (clean suction cup and surface in order to achieve max grip). The attachments are all pretty sharp. My only hang up is that the peeler attachment has a different cutting circle than previous peelers I've used, so it takes more skin and flesh off the apple than I'm used to. Not a horrible defect, but my apple chips were definitely smaller because of this.

This is a great gadget for when you have a lot of apples to prepare for baking or eating. First time I've ever owned something like this and I love it! I couldn't believe how fast I was able to prepare my apples for baking. You can adjust the blades and you also get extra blades with it. Clean up was easy, too. I haven't tried it on potatoes yet, but I am pretty confident it will work just fine. Just don't use it on soft fruit. I tried a soft pear and that did not work out. Still, worth 5 stars!

Why have I been apple peeling & cutting the hard way! I love this Apple Peeler Corer and highly recommend it to everyone. So easy to use with a simple crank, slices & peels uneven sized apples (the more fresh & firm the better though) It stays firmly on my countertop, peels while I turn (or leave the peels on with a simple adjustment). This item is exactly as described. One word of caution, I cut myself the first time, not realizing there's a blade where you pull off the core. Not advised for young children unsupervised.

I have 0 complaints about this item. I had gone up to northern michigan for the weekend and somehow ended up with a very nice bushel of apples (for those that dont know, a bushel is about 42lbs (120 apples) and this peeler got me thru them in less than two hours. I would have spent days peeling them with a knife. it suctioned to the table very well.. each peeling was at least nearly perfect as was each coring. Love this.. saved my hands. 10/10
