The media could not be loaded. Very portable, lightweight, easy to transport. RADIANT Heat output is really good. The only reason for 4 Stars is for two reasons:
*Instructions do not specify the actual minimum OR maximum temperature that are available.
*When turned on the highest temp seems to be 160 radiant heat which is all we have set it at but when I turn it on it sets itself to 159 (if it has been off for awhile) so I increase it by one for 160 temp.
The entire unit gets pretty warm but not dangerously so, nor so much that you would burn yourself on it. Stands sturdy and stable. We keep it under a dinning table where an Senior man sits on a chair with a blanket. It keeps his legs warm which has been the entire purpose for getting this.
A pet could sit in front of it safely but obviously still maintain supervision. It shuts off if tipped over which is a great safety feature.
I have had it plugged into a power strip with a surge protector trip switch since December 2022. No problems or issues. We use for a few hours each day depending on how long my partner sits at his table as it is set up under the table, at 160° to keep his feet and legs warm.

I feel the heat the minute this heater comes on, however, getting it to come IS the problem. To turn on the power, I have to find just the right spot or it won't come on at all! The directions say "˜hold the power button for 3 seconds'. If my finger is not in the "˜sweet spot', it doesn't mater how long I hold the button, it ain't coming on. This is VERY frustrating for me! Once it's on, it heats up right away and shows how much time (by the hour not the minutes) are left.
I feel comfortable dozing off with this guy right beside the bed/chair without fear of burning my skin or setting the place on fire. That along is worth the price"¦ when it comes on ðŸ'„ The only thing that would make this better is a remote control, then there'd be no problem. Hopefully, some is working on that cause I got my coins ready!!
I think I would recommend this to a friend but with a very CLEAR UNDERSTANDING of the issue they may have with turning it on.

Could feel warmth 12" from pad. Conveniently wraps around 18" rack mounted battery bank. Should provide warm batteries inside our off-grid cabin during the winter when we are away. Located in Indiana.

I bought this item because I was sick of fan and/or radiant heaters for under my desk that were either noisy or put out their heat too high to keep feet and lower legs warm while over heating above. This panel unit is, of course, silent and radiates warmth down to floor level under my desk while effectively blocking the flow of cold air into my space. As others have noted, there was a concerning eye-watering out-gassing when first fired up but this was about 80% less 24 hours later and almost undetectable the following days. If I had to do it over, I would operate the panel for the first day or so outside or in an otherwise well ventilated area. My only suggestion for improvement would be a wired/wireless remote control as opposed to the somewhat awkward fixed placement but even then I only access the control module once to turn the unit on in the morning and set the timer to turn it off about quitting time. So far, I am pleased with this purchase and what was for me a solid solution for addressing my personal space heating needs.

This heats up so quick and makesy office much warmer. Very cool heater and it's quiet and discreet.
