This set of MAGICYOYO D3 Dawn's has recently become a personal favorite for me as an extremely affordable option for high end looping yo-yo's!
These are the perfect entry to advanced level pair of modern responsive ball-bearing looping yo-yo's! They appear to be of the same high quality I have come to expect from MAGICYOYO as a company!
They feature a very comfortable in the hand size, shape, and weight! The D3 dawn also offers a dependable "starburst response system" providing incredibe low maintenance with an exceptional spin-time and a snappy yet reliable response! They come in a wide variety of color options as well!
I have three pairs of D3 Dawn's in my personal collection currently but I plan on getting pairs in the other color options! I enjoy "half -swapping" various pairs to make custom "color options" unavailable any other way!
For someone new to yo-yo's you will not find a better or more capable "starter kit" to get into 2A/looping style tricks! As a bonus they come with 10 strings, 2 yoyo gloves, and two MAGICYOYO branded velvet pouches to store them in safely!

I'm no yo-yo expert, but I had a few Duncans when I was a kid and fondly remember doing tricks with them eons ago. This definitely brought me back to my childhood when unboxing it. Although I will say, I don't remember any of my old yo-yos coming with extra strings and carrying bags. That's nice plus. This yo-yo spins and sleeps nicely, although I really don't have any other current benchmark to compare this with other than my old memories from childhood. My kid is into yo-yos now and enjoys playing with it. It's a good beginner set for the money. Perhaps a gateway yo-yo if you will.

This is a good beginner yo-yo, but does not seem to have the advanced features that keep a beginner interested and allow them to advance. Build quality is solid, it has survived multiple drops. But the yo-yo does not spin on it's own, for tricks like "walk the dog". Overall ok value.
