I find these very hard to find in our local grocery stores and if I can find them , they are very pricey. I have a fun salad that I make using lentils and currants so I love having a big supply of currants on hand at all times. And they are a great price!

Completely full of good vital nutrients, antioxidants etc. the reason you can't find these in most stores kids today prefer fast food they are aging fast this type of food slows down this process, they may figure it out? These bags are 8 oz. Which are quite large!

These tasty little berries are a great addition to waffle batter. Currants are from Greece where food is a gastronomic wonder. Try them in cereal, on ice cream, in waffle batter. They're full of potassium.

My husband grew up eating Welsh Cakes and we have a wonderful Welsh Cake recipe handed down from his grandfather from Wales. They are SO yummy, but ALAS, I can usually only find Zante Currants (not really a currant at ALL, but tiny raisins, REAL currants are NOT readily available in the US, you'll have to Google that history) during the holiday time, and WORSE I couldn't find them this year ANYWHERE. I was SO happy I found these and got the box of 10 (Zante Currants are freezable), and now I will be able to make Welsh Cakes ALL year long! Hooray! These were fresh and perfect (and NOT expired) just like we'd find at the grocery store.
