My family absolutely loves shuffleboard. It is definitely one of our favorite games to play on vacation.
Now we have our own set that we can roll out and play indoors, take outside or to someone's house.
This HearthSong set is an excellent quality - it is very evident that they paid close attention to all the details. The cues easily screw apart to make for convenience and easy storage. The material the mat is made from is both nice, durable and can easily be wiped down if necessary. I was super impressed with the ball bearings on the pucks that are there to help them glide. The mat, cues and pucks all fit nicely in the storage bag that comes with the set.
The package insert lists how to both set up and play the game in an abbreviated version. If you want a more comprehensive version the website for the National Shuffleboard Association is also listed on the sheet.
All in all this is a great set that is well made and comes packaged beautifully and would be well received if you gifted it.

The game easily rolled out and laid flat for play. The pucks worked ok, but do not roll as well as they should. I also do not expect them to last long. The game is fun and well made, but it would be better if the scale were over all bigger. The pucks would work better if they were larger, the game mar longer and the sticks longer. However, don't let this deter you from buying. Great game!
