Pop up mechanism needs accurate fastening

Set into butcher block island using drill and jig saw. Easy wiring but needs attention to being bent down into box so pop up mechanism works. (Some cursing is expected). Use screws for adjustment on pop up mechanism to make sure it works before screwing the entire unit in place

The ground fault outlet is both weather and tamper resistant. Opening action is nicely damped, and the wiring is super simple. The outlet is completely surrounded by metal that seems as if it should last decades. By appearances a quality product that should work well.
The product came with minimal packaging, cheap cardboard box in a plastic mailing bag. The box was crushed, with a cover plate for a concrete or tile floor install broken (not needed for my use). The hinged portion of the unit was pushed to one side slightly; bent, but still functional.
