A nice weight for fall or spring (for me, I could even wear it on a warmer winter day) it's a tighter weave that does work well with a traditional cloak pin, but would be fine with a smaller needle broach pin. It's nice quality, would like the edge stitching to be a little more nicely done, but overall it's nice for the price
