Saran wrap is my enemy. This made me hate it less

This thing is fantastic!!!!! Confession: I am a 30-something female and I have struggled to use saran wrap all of my adult life. I pull and pry. I get tangled and frustrated. The plastic wrap sticks together and I eventually reach for the tin foil and go about my day like I intended to use foil all along. But I still feel that failure. I have a degree. I am a responsible adult. I can legitimately throw knives like a stinkin' ninja. Therefore, failure to properly use cling wrap because I cannot effectively tear it while keeping it untangled was simply not acceptable. However, one of Life's hard lessons is that you don't always win and that's why I decided to order this plastic wrap dispenser with cutter. Take that, Life! I found a work-around! It's called adapting and does not count as cheating.

This baby comes pre-loaded with a big roll of plastic wrap held in place by a metal rod and plastic clips. The outside body is smooth with plastic with gray trough. There are nonskid pads on the bottom to ensure smooth wrap-pulling action. To operate, simply open the little hinged door with magnet closure and pull the wrap up and out over the cutting channel. The manufacturer kindly put a sticker on the cling wrap to make it easy to fish out. Close the door and pull out the length of cling wrap you need and slide the magic cutter over the plastic. And then do the victory dance for conquering an adult chore like a boss. Also, the slim design actually takes up less space than the bulky boxes rolls usually come in. The saran wrap can be swapped for foil, parchment paper, wax paper, etc.

I was so excited about the easy operation of this formally dreadful task that I brought this magic maker to the office to show it off. Turns out, I definitely fell a few rungs on the "impressive" ladder but I don't even care because the world needs to know that plastic wrap boxes with jagged teeth that rip my winter skin will no longer be a problem. Spend the $25 and feel like a conquering hero for the rest of your life! Do you need to buy a gift for someone that has it all? Buy this! In all seriousness, I have a loved one with severe arthritis of the hands and this handy thing would make a great gift.

What a great product! easy to use and looks much better than the old boxes. Nicely magnetic to stick to the side of the fridge. Far superior to some of those wood ones where the cutter blade is too close to the roll.

This Plastic Wrap Dispenser with Cutter is a fantastic idea and design but it could be better executed.

So this is a plastic holder/dispenser for plastic wrap or aluminum foil and it has an integrated cutter. It's made of plastic and the styling is sleek and looks good on the counter. It's easy to load the plastic wrap and a roll is included. There is a long strip of silicone next to the cutter which holds the wrap or foil in place. The cutter works smoothly and cuts effortlessly. There are rubber feet on the bottom to help hold it in place on the counter.

I was so excited about this product and it really is amazing but there are some issues. For one, it is NOT magnetic, as indicated on the product page. That would be cool if it were because I could store it (and even use it) stuck on the side of the fridge. Next, it would be better if it was weighted because it will tip over without you keeping a hand on it when pulling out the wrap or foil. Last, it doesn't accommodate PressNSeal because it's too big. Also, extra large rolls won't fit. It would be nice if it was larger to accept larger rolls, although it would lose the slim shape.

Despite all those things, it's soooo much better than the dispenser boxes that foil and plastic wrap come in. I have it out on the counter and am probably going to get another one for foil.
