It works fine if you're not going to remove it when not being used. The hole in mine didn't match up with the hole in the mounting bracket, so it's really fiddly trying to get it back together. I'm going to use a rat tail file to make the hole a little bigger and it shouldn't be a problem after that. Also, it smells very strongly of plastic/chemicals. Smell should fade in a couple days, hopefully.

The two tone silver/black matches my panniers almost identical, although the texture is different. The top box comes with its own rack so mounting was a snap. The red lenses are removable for those of you who wants to install 12VDC tape lighting.(also available from Amazon). Box is available is 4 color schemes.
