Foams nicely but sadly if you use the brush side and it is pressed straight it kinda hurts, but if you use it slightly tilted it works without pain, but I don't know if the handle will last long, when drying it off on a towel it makes a creaky noise like the plastic might split,

For the price of this brush it's an ABSOLUTE STEAL! It's a dual sided manual brush one side for exfoliating and the other side soft bristles for washing your face. This brush definitely does a great job. The bristles are soooo soft and there's a lot of them! You can press pretty hard and scrub! I did notice bristles had fallen out in the bag I guess during transit but other than that it's been great. I do wish the exfoliating side was a bit better but for how cheap the brush was I can't complain. The brush is also easy to clean when your done all you have to do is rinse it off and let it dry. I got the pink one I think it also came in all white.
