Very high quality instrument - Top Notch - the one Larry Wheels uses

This dynamometer tester is very accurate and repeatable. I ended up sticking with the functional model which I think is the best all-around and isn't worth the extra $ for the additional data from the other models. The clinic and deluxe models do not store information from where I could find. It's best just to take a photo of your highest measurement and it will automatically be time stamped in the metadata. I went from about 63kg to 96.6kg in 2-3 months of training with this, Ironmind grippers, pinch hub, expand bands and rolling thunder. I can close a 2.5 on most days which isn't necessarily indicative to high readings from this device. I'm still not quite closing a 3 but at nearly 100kg (Larry's benchmark in his Venice Beach video). I was the first to go, unprepared at the time. Next time I will be ready. 😃 Chalk makes a huge difference. Also, most people will use it in setting 2 of 5 (you'd have to have gorilla/Mark Felix hands to go past position 3). It's a great tool to measure your progress and a good rehabilitation tool too. I had broken my right hand but I'm back to nearly full strength again.
