Pros
It did help with my snoring problem down about 90%
I don't toss and turn while sleeping anymore
Cons
The bottom part slides off my teeth in the middle of the night.
It is uncomfortable at first but I got used to it. I don't get jaw pain but my front teeth hurt a bit in the morning. The pain goes away fairly quick and is not severe.
Bottom line I sleep buch better with the mouthpiece.

Sorry for the long review"¦i just want to give ZQuiet the praise it deserves, since it's Amazon ratings don't do it a whole lot of justice. If you don't want to read my review, fine. The title should be straightforward enough. "It actually works!"
To be fair, I have struggled for a while to sleep with a mouth guard in (i have a super expensive, custom mouth guard made by my dentist after I had a tooth implant"¦it is not made to be an anti-snoring device"¦mainly just there to protect my tooth implant.) Even the custom, dentist-made mouth guard causes me so much tooth soreness and discomfort that i can hardly wear it"¦plus it does absolutely nothing for my snoring issue (it's not it's main purpose anyhow).
My wife has had to deal with my snoring for a few years now, and it just keeps getting worse. Especially worsens with weight gain, but that's a whole other issue that I am working on. With my snoring worsening, I really needed to find some sort of solution (especially for my wife's sake).
I will admit, I was kind of skeptical that an anti-snore mouth guard would even help at all. I first saw ads about ZQuiet on Facebook. But I never fully trust ads I see there so I ignored it. Then I also noticed the brand here on Amazon. However, the reviews/stars for ZQuiet kind of threw me off. There were other anti-snore mouth guards at a similar price point that appeared to be rated much higher on Amazon. So I tried one of the other brands (simply due to higher Amazon stars/ratings). I use an app called SnoreLab to try and track my results.
Searching out and testing another mouth guard it was a really tough adjustment. After giving the other brands a few weeks of testing, I concluded that it just didn't work for me (see screenshot of my results/journey). The other brands of snore guards made very little difference (check out my SnoreLab app results).
So I searched for a different one. I kept seeing ZQuiet. I figured "why not?". Even though the Amazon ratings aren't as high as others for some reason, I decided to give ZQuiet a try.
On my first night with ZQuiet, I spit it out. In fact, when I woke up in the morning, I found the ZQuiet next to my pillow (I must've spit it out of my mouth at some point during the night). Then I checked the SnoreLab results. For the first half of the night, my snoring was actually minimized significantly. In fact, from my screenshot, you can clearly see at what point I spit it out. It took about a week for me to successfully be able to wear ZQuiet throughout the night.
As with all mouth guards I've tried, my teeth usually feel sore in the morning. But ZQuiet makes it worth it. I have gotten used to it and my tooth soreness has been disappearing (be patient!).
I have added a few screenshots so that you can all see my results. I have added notes to the screenshots as well to describe what you are seeing. ZQuiet totally deserves a higher rating! Although I still have a snoring problem, ZQuiet helps significantly temper my snoring loudness so that my wife can finally get a peaceful night of rest! At this price point I would highly recommend ZQuiet! Nice thing about Amazon is that if it doesn't work for you, just return it. What do you have to lose? (Gah, I sound like a freaking commercial haha)

Works to stop snoring

This did help with the snoring but in the end it was pushing on my husbands tooth which could lead to it moving so we decided to quit usage. That may not be the case for everyone. In any case, the company was wonderful to deal with, at first, you cannot return through Amazon but I contacted the company directly and they gave a full refund. May be better to purchase directly from company so refunds are easier.
Works but

I've tried tons of snoring solutions and this has been the one I've stuck with. I've found that jaw advancing mouth guards are the solution that suppress snoring the best. But most of them are awful, painful, huge, annoying, smelly. This guard is the best option of an unfortunate solution. This guard is expensive, for what it does and for the amount of material used. However, it's a USA product so I can overlook the high cost. It's a good thing that this guard uses the least amount of material of all the guards I've used. It feels better in the mouth, and is less annoying. The hinge feature is key too - I believe it helps prevent jaw pain, which is a huge problem with other guards. It also allows easier breathing and slightly better speaking, although it's still kind of pointless to try to talk with it in (if you're in bed with a partner). My jaw still gets "˜stuck' in the forward position by morning - it's one of the downsides for these systems. I'm not able to close my mouth and my teeth are super misaligned. I usually have to suck my lower lip for a while to get realignment - but other guards would mess me up so bad that it would be hours before my teeth realigned. So the 2mm advancement of this guard is enough to curb my snoring but not destroy my jaw muscles.
These types of guards also jack up the teeth. They rely on leveraging your jaw forward by pushing your bottom teeth forward and your top teeth backward. If there's a risk of permanently jacking up the angles/structure of your teeth, it's a risk I'm taking because the benefit is me not snoring at night. These types of guards make my underbite worse, unfortunately. But my dentist hasn't said anything yet. I don't understand why these companies don't redesign their mouth guards to use your back teeth as anchors/leverage points, and remove the front sections that push your teeth all around.
So maybe a half star taken off for that lack of forethought in the design. The biggest thing about this guard that pisses me off is that where it's seemingly cut out of the mold, the edges are super sharp. Not enough to cut your mouth, but enough to ruin my tongue. It's another downside I've just decided to live with. The sharp edge happens to be on the inside of this guard, all along the front edge of the gum line, top and bottom. So all night long, my tongue moves across this rough surface thousands of times, rubbing the tissue and taste buds raw all over the tip of my tongue. I now can't taste anything on the tip of my tongue because I've used the guard for several months. Whenever I get the chance, when I'm sleeping along, I don't wear the thing, in hopes that my tongue will heal. But that's a rare instance so I've kind of given up on that hope.
To the company - this is an embarrassingly obvious oversight that should be fixed, because it would be so easy and might be causing damage to others. In the meantime I keep meaning to try my own fix, so I'll maybe have an update if I ever get around to it.

I've been trying plenty of alternatives to decrease my annoying snoring. I think I'm driving my boyfriend to his wits end listening to me at night lol.
I tried nose strips and nasal expander, the uncomfortable pillow (which is also actually helpful), and another mouth guard. The other mouth guard was effective when on, but highly uncomfortable and when I took it off my teeth would ache and my jaw would pop around for a little while which made me a little nervous.
I looked a lot and like the appeal of the Zquiet not forcing my jaw open. I did think perhaps that would make it be less effective but it hasn't thus far been.
I put it in about 10-15min before I go to sleep. I do have to take it out 1-2x before I fall asleep to swallow the initial increased saliva in my mouth. I can move my jaw open and closed, and the guard is labeled "˜upper' for those of us whom can't always figure out the obvious.
I use a snore app just to torture myself when I wake up by listening to how I slept and how much I snored.
The 1st time I wore it the majority of my sleep, then woke up a couple hours before my alarm went off and took it out. I noticed on my app that the whole time it was in it didn't pick up any snoring, then the snoring it did pick up after I took it out was decreased.
I work night shift so on my work week I think I sleep a little harder and I've only had this a few days, all happen to be after I've been on shift. I see that as long as it's in my snoring is either stopped or extremely decreased, but it seems I find it easy in my sleep to remove it as well.
My teeth haven't been sore at all with this one. My jaw has been a little sore and "˜loose' feeling right when I take it out, but no where as bad as with my SnoreRX.
Overall I feel like this may be a good solution for me, maybe not a miracle answer, but a great help!! I recommend it :)
