Solid Product for Language Translation

I run an international charitable organization working in developing nations across multiple languages. The Timekettle WT2 Edge/W3 Translator is very helpful in my work. The device allows me to communicate at a fundamental level with my staff and the locals without hiring a human translator as a go between. Not having a 3rd human allows me to have true 1-on-1 conversations.
The languages I am working with are "online only" requiring an internet connection. Internet is not an issue in the cities and becomes more of a challenge as I travel to smaller village locations. As I'm working with less popular languages, local dialects, accents, rate of speech, education, grammatical structure, etc. are bigger factors influencing translation accuracy. I find that patience and commitment to communication is essential on both sides of the conversation to achieve success. Timekettle works and I recommend it!

They are correct when they say its 95% accurate when you use the product that's for offline use and you download the latest files. Plus, have a decent cell phone. Keep your cache clean on your phone and you're on your way of learning a second language or preaching in a foreign tongue.

I purchased the WT2 Edge/W3 Translator Device for an upcoming trip to Spain. I was a little suspicious that these earphones would work, but a friend said I should try them. After using them for a week or two, here are my thoughts.
My first attempt at using them was with an online video in Spanish. They worked okay but sometimes lost the conversation when it became too fast. I was worried at first, but then I tried them with my partner from Spain. Surprisingly, they translated her conversation with me with about 95% accuracy, maybe even 99%. Very impressive! So with this, I would say that these translators are perfect for one-on-one conversations. Not so much with groups of people or videos that may speak very quickly or have overlapping conversations, which makes sense for this type of product. I did find success with videos when it was one person speaking at a medium speed. For these reasons, I am giving it five stars. Not perfect, but it definitely exceeded my expectations and would allow me to have a conversation with a Spanish speaker with ease.
As for customer service, I ordered the offline package. This package comes with a card with a code that allows you to download the offline content to use the product without wifi or Internet service. The card was either left out of my package or lost in the initial unpackaging of the translators. Either way, I called customer service late in the evening and received a message they were closed. I figured I would call back on Monday when they were open. On Monday morning, I received a call from a random number. Thinking it was a sales call about my car warranty, I ignored it. When I listened to the message, it was from a representative whose initials are GM (not sure if Amazon allows names in reviews) from Timekettle, the product maker. He was returning my call to see how they could help me. I told them my offline card was missing and that I would be traveling to Spain in a few days. GM took my name and order number and sent the card the very next day to ensure I had it before my trip! He even called again to make sure I received it. I was absolutely shocked that they returned my call so quickly and handled the issue within 24 hours. Awesome!
I am looking forward to using these as I practice my Spanish and testing them with friends in Spain.

Overall, it is a good product, but there are still some areas that need to be improved.

It is a good earphone in case of emergency. .
1. Headphones are easy to fall off. I don't have this with other headphones.

Excellent technology for near-instant translation in conversations

These earbuds were very comfortable for me, and I was amazed at how quickly they charged - maybe 20 minutes and were over 80% charged from 5%. I tried to test these out on my own, but I need to speak Spanish better to gauge how well the translation is; however, my girlfriend tried these out, and we could converse pretty easily. The translation takes time to get used to as there is a pause during conversations to ensure the other person hears what was said, but once we got into the mode of pausing for a second or so - all worked as expected.
I don't think a faster translation would work due to the background noise of talking interfering with listening, so it is truly a matter of remembering to pause and breathe while the other person listens.
Because you can't also hear what is translated when sharing the earpieces, it is difficult to know if the translation did occur. Therefore, it might be nice to have a "ringtone" occur to notify the speaker that the translation has worked.
This is 100% better than using Google Translate on my phone directly so far - I'm looking forward to getting a ton of use out of these until one of us can speak the other's language! (After 1 1/2 years, though... who knows when that will happen! ha)
