This little tablet is great! I bought it on recommendation from a friend, and I'm glad I did! It's very simple -- technically it is an "electronic device" but just barely. There's no entertainment if you don't provide it yourself :) It fills the same role as etch-a-sketch used to, but it's easier to write on and to erase. It is thin and lightweight, which is great. But it's SO thin and lightweight that I'm nervous about one of my kids sitting on it and snapping it. OTOH, it's not very expensive so if that happens, I will probably be willing to buy another one.
