I started looking into this after hurricane Irma and I was staying at a hurricane shelter.
Everybody there ended up getting the flu so I wanted to get something for myself but also I found out that anything liquid would go bad without adequate temperature, and if it was too hot then all the liquid gels would melt together and turn into a giant lump.
After the hurricane it was really hard to get cold and flu medications the Red Cross provided what they could but it wasn't enough for everybody.
So .... I haven't actually tried it but it has all the same stuff as the liquid gel and the actual liquid so I think it should work and it can withstand a lot of temperature changes.
